I'm Hideously Beautiful

You ever have those moments where you're thinking two things at the same time?

I do.

Actually, I have a lot this past weeks...
(more like 2 months)

Just about 5 minutes ago I go into the bathroom and look in the mirror and at the exact same time I see the things I love and hate about myself and I just can't tell whats stronger anymore.

Is that good?

In some ways I love my self, and a really special person helped me see why, but parts of me still want things desperately to be different.

Hell, just Tuesday I was thinking, "God I want to be thinner..." and just today I'm looking in the mirror and I say "I'm looking pretty damn good, huh?"

I think I'm scared of really being happy with myself, which sounds stupid, but I am. I'm so used to hating how I look and the other little embarrassing things about me, that it's so strange that I start to look at myself.. well, better.

[The damn mirror at "Brookstone" doesn't help :shakefist: it shows everything wrong with your face in it, and the guy at the counter was like "Watch out, now, that thing's evil." Makes me laugh.]

Anyway, I don't really know what to think. I feel like loving myself fully will change my personality and I'll be less understanding of people in my position..

Grawr, I'll leave you alone now if you're still reading it.
